Builth Wells

New location

Community Support Office, The Strand, 1 Groe Street, Builth Wells LD2 3DW. This office is located at bottom of Strand walkway, opposite the Groe.

Opening hours for credit union services: Fridays 11am to 1pm

Telephone 01982 551000 - manned during office hours by credit union volunteers with answer machine at other times.
Also 01597 824000 - manned at various times by credit union volunteers and also has answer machine.

All services are available at this service point.

The record flood levels of the River Wye in February a few years ago due to storms Ciara and Dennis caused serious damage to the Old TIC building and Powys County Council have decided not to continue its use as a community hub and it is no longer available for the credit union.

Llandrindod Wells Service Point

The Hive, Temple Chambers, South Crescent, Llandrindod Wells, LD1 5DH
On the corner of South Crescent and Temple Street. Previously a burger bar.

The credit union is pleased to be able to move its main operational centre to this new community hub.
It is now the Registered Office of the credit union.
A service point is available and will be manned by credit union volunteers on Wednesdays from 11am to 2 pm. All services are available there.

Opening days and times will be announced when available.

With prior notice, small cash payments or cheque payments are available. Passbook must be presented. Passbooks can be left for updating.

The café is now operating under new management as a family business. The credit union service point will be available for taking payments from 10am to 12 on Thursdays when a credit union representative will be available. Café staff are no longer able to take payments on behalf of the credit union but can be available outside the busy lunchtime to answer queries and give out application forms.
